Focus topic:
Practical Play Time and BBQ
After a fantastic year with you all we are going to finish off with a bang where Scott will be providing a fun and practical workshop for you to learn new skills and build more understanding around delivering exciting and engaging experiences for school age children.
We will explore how to:
– Incorporate STEM into our programs (including making and launching a bottle rocket)
– Build willow bows and arrows (incorporating whittling with knives and using Pyrography tools to burn designs)
– Make fire with flint
– Develop printmaking skills through a variety of mediums
Once you’ve had an introduction to each of these experiences you will be free to explore at your own leisure. We will also be providing a BBQ sausage sizzle for all involved, so let’s get another great turn-out for this one!
This is the final Network Group meeting for the year and we hope to see you there!
